Phil and Patti Rose retired and moved to Ferndale, WA in the spring of 2009, and now pursue an avocation of creating jewelry of natural stone and silver. This is a year-long enterprise. In the winter they visit Arizona where rough stone from all over the world is purchased. Back in their home studio in Ferndale, the stone is cut and polished into cabochons. Each cabochon is studied and an individualized sterling silver setting is designed using the lost wax method. Images of the process can be seen on our Lost Wax Process page.
This process lends itself to free and open design qualities which can be seen using the links above.
The jewelry is sold at select arts and craft shows, and fine art and jewelry stores that support the artists of Washington state. Please note the location of upcoming events listed on our Calendar page. We also sell on-line at Etsy.
